Lauren graduated from Emily Carr University in 2010 with an honours degree in Film, Video, and Integrated Media.
Her work was primarily focused on an academic exploration of memory which manifested itself in her graduation project; Bernadine.
Lauren went on to be awarded the prestigious John C Kerr Chancellors Award for outstanding Academic and Artistic Achievement in the field of Media. She was also accepted to Parson's the New School (NYC) to continue her academic and artistic work in their Masters of Media Arts program, but deferred enrolment to pursue a career in the tech industry. She currently works as a technical trainer within the thriving tech community of Vancouver Canada.
