Power of Education Africa

POEA is a non-denominational Canadian registered charity that helps impoverished girls in rural Kenya access the power of secondary and post secondary education. As Director of Technology, I design and manage our website, speak at public events, consult on all technology needs, and volunteer on the ground in Kenya. I also photograph and document our events and work on the ground in Kenya.

Shine Coalition

A blog focused on Intersectional Feminism, Shine Coalition was created as a resource for millennial women in the workplace. It focuses on providing real and approachable guidance for women everywhere, while also sharing weekly news stories of women's achievements. In addition to the blog I maintain a social presence for Shine Coalition on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. All illustrations on the site are done by me. 

Photography + Illustration

The daughter of an Art Teacher and an Architect, I grew up developing my own photographs in a black and white darkroom. These days I shoot digital, and work on passion projects for close friends and family such as wedding videos, professional headshots, and family documentation. I also photograph the work I do with Power of Education Africa, and draw custom illustrations for the Shine Coalition blog and social channels.

49th + North

A lifestyle blog focused on pet health and encouraging the adoption and rescue of animals, 49th + North shares my experiences and adventures with my rescue dog Gatsby as we take in all that British Columbia has to offer. 49th + North is focused on positive reinforcement training principles, having learnt from the teachings of Dr. Ian Dunbar. The blog shares important tips about pet care and training, and advice for those looking to rescue an animal.
